Samir CHTITA was born in Taounate (Morocco) on 12/12/1982. He is a professor in the discipline of Molecular modeling and computational Chemistry. He is currently employed at the Faculty of Sciences Ben M’Sik - Hassan II University of Casablanca, Morocco since 2018. He was graduated in computational chemistry from Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University in Fez (2011), got PhD degree in Physical Chemistry and Molecular Modelling from the Moulay Smail University in Meknes (2017) and habilitation in Chemistry and Molecular Modeling from the Hassan II University of Casablanca (2021). In addition, in the years 2006-18 he was employed as professor of computer science at the Ministry of National Education of Morocco. The main research interests of Professor Chtita cover the computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry, chemoinformatics, QSAR/QSPR and drug design problems. The results from these studies have been the objects of more than 100 scientific publications on international journals.
